Biography
Steisha Pintado is an interdisciplinary artist who uses painting, drawing, puppetry, and stop motion animation to explore her personal experience of being raised in a fundamentalist religious cult and the aftermath of leaving the cult. She is currently an MFA student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also graduated from the same institution with a BFA in Painting in 2013.
